Our most recent Paperblanks Traveller comes courtesy of Nills, who recently returned from a holiday in Portugal. About his European vacation, Nills writes:
I took this picture in Sintra at the Pena National Palace. Sintra is a “must” place to go if you are visiting Lisbon; the landscapes are amazing and the city is full of history. I took my Paperblanks Embellished Manuscripts Blake, Poems journal everywhere with me so I could keep memories of this trip.

Women dream of world peace, a safe environment, and eliminating hunger. What do men dream of? Being stuck in a lift with the Spice girls.
Travel journaling really does bring a trip to life—there’s something powerful about capturing thoughts in the moment that photos alone can’t convey. Sintra is a dream to explore; it’s great to see others soaking up its magic too.
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts! We are so glad you enjoyed our post.
I loved how Lisbon’s tiled façades peek through in this traveller piece—reminds me of wandering Alfama at dusk. The author’s moment with the paperblanks notebook in hand felt so relatable, like capturing quiet corners between the bustling streets.
I loved the glimpse into Lisbon’s paper treasures—the Traveller section makes me want to wander the Alfama with a notebook. Reading about shared stories of Paperblanks adds a personal vibe I rarely find in travel features. The careful design details on the blog post really echo that old-world charm.
