If you’re wondering what to do with a free weekend this chilly season, may we suggest putting your coziest socks on, turning on “Do Not Disturb” and getting lost in the pages of a good book or two.

And if that wasn’t convincing enough, here are some of our favourite quotes on reading to get you started.

― C.S. Lewis

― Groucho Marx

“Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them.”

― Lemony Snicket

― George R.R. Martin
