Hi Andy,

Isabelle is using a journal from our Silver Filigree Collection (this one is called "Natural"). These journals are designed to be used by writers and artists alike, though the gsm does vary by size. For full details on the paper we use (including paper weights), please check out this blog post: http://blog.paperblanks.com/2015/05/paperblanks-craftsmanship-standards-paper-quality-update/.

We hope this helps!

Best,
The Paperblanks Team

Hi. I have been looking for a sketchbook to try watercolour in. Loved the look of your exquisite journals since I stumbled across them. Which of your journals were used by the artist in this post (8 Questions with Isabelle Arné, Independent Illustrator)? Would this be suitable for watercolour pencils? Was this journal designed for artists or is it just because it has heavyweight paper?

Kind regards
