If you’re looking for a new Silver Filigree Dayplanner for 2016 we will be introducing Aubergine in English and German. Thank you for getting in touch and for your kind words. We’re so pleased that our designs have touched and inspired you! You’re right about our logic behind the closures on Aubergine and Esmeralda. We always want to be able to offer a variety of options and price points, but sometimes we do guess wrong!

As for our paper weight, it tends to vary by journal size and format. Generally speaking though, our Ultra journals (along with Address Books and Micros) have a paper weight of about 120 gsm. If you’re looking for Dayplanners, those run 80 gsm for Week-At-A-Time and 100 gsm for Day-At-A-Time.

In fact, the lowest weight on any of our products in the 80gsm used in the Week-At-A-Time Dayplanners.

First of all, sorry for my english, I’m Spanish and still need to improve my skills with the British language. I’d like to congratulate all the Paperblanks Team for creating so lovely products.
Since I discovered Paperblanks, I’ve bought three diaries, and really love all. Honestly, I can perceive its strong design, almost mesmerizing, and feel how quality is present in every single detail.
When I got a “Lindau Gospels” Ultra diary and kept staring at the cover design… can you believe I end up bursting into tears? It was a very special moment… I felt so excited… So I’ve no words to describe how much I adore all your products… Certainly they are unique, powerfully touching.

In the same way, I want to value the fact that you’re constantly offering new designs. I hope you continue creating and wish your success keep growing.

From your Fall 2014 Collection I like above all the “Silver Filigree Esmeralda Ultra”, I find comfortable and stylish the green colour of this diary, but I don’t understand why it has no closure, I’d prefer it would have a “brooch” closure, I mean, the same closure of the “Silver Filigree Aubergine Ultra”. I suppose you’ve designed in this way for more variety…

I also would like to know which is the thickness of the paper of your diaries, how many g/m2. I think it must be more than 80 g/m2, maybe 100 g/m2 or more. Sorry for the curiosity, but I want to care of my diaries (your masterpieces), considering how to write in them.
