It’s almost 2013 and so we wanted to share this neat look at the past. The following diary entry comes from a member of a household in 1877 Mackay, Queensland in Australia. It’s made up of two sketches that depict how the family celebrated the New Year.
In the first picture they’re “seeing the old year out” by lowering the flag and in the second picture they’re seeing “the new one in” with a toast. Check it out below!
